How to boost homepage conversions.
If you've not come across the AIDA rule you'll like this.
It is estimated that over 75% of new prospects will have checked you out on your website before accepting a call or meeting. Personally, I reckon it is even higher. Either way, I think we all know that how good your homepage is will definitely impact your sales.
The biggest consideration you must accommodate when reviewing your homepage is that the Internet has turned us into a bunch of ‘scanners’, no longer logical readers from top to bottom. If you doubt this – why did you start from the graphic before deciding to read more?
In the simplest of explanations, you need to break your homepage into 4 sections to accommodate this 'scanning', giving each one a separate task (Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action).
It is an essential rule for your homepage today. No doubt all will change in the next 24 months. Check yours out today and adjust accordingly. You will sell more as a consequence.
